“After raising 4 million euros in 2023 for its industrial demonstrator, the Angers-based start-up plans a new round of funding in Series A at the end of the year. VoltR thus intends to finance the construction of its first lithium battery reconditioning plant, within two years.”
“One year after the commissioning of its pilot site for the reconditioning of lithium batteries in Angers, VoltR is already thinking bigger. The Angevine start-up is in fact planning the creation of a new factory by 2026. An automated site of 5,000 square meters capable of reconditioning 2 million battery cells each year with a hundred employees, which could be set up in the Pays de la Loire region. “This project requires 4 to 5 hectares of land, and we are very popular with other regions, as well as by investors,” supports Alban Régnier, founder of VoltR.”
